Shiksha Gallow
Dr. Shiksha Gallow is a pioneer in the Medical cannabis industry globally as a Cannabis Clinician. She is the Medical Director of Holistic Integrative Healing Institute and the Principal Investigator for the first Medical Cannabis Study in South Africa.
Dr. Gallow holds a degree in Bio Medicine, qualified in Clinical Pathology Cum Laude. Additionally she has many academic qualifications in Medical Science, Masters in Public Health Medicine, MBA and 2 PHDs. She holds a PHD in Business Leadership and a Doctorate in Medicine. Dr Gallow is completing her third PHD in medical cannabinoid research. Furthermore, her passion lies in healing patients and she completed her Dispensing of Medicines qualification. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Society of Cannabis Clinicians USA and UK. She further holds qualifications with SAQA as a facilitator, assessor and moderator.
The universities she studied include Open University UK, University of Roehampton UK, University of Washington, Durban University of Technology, UNISA and Milton Keynes University UK, Delaware USA and Griffiths University Australia. Dr. Gallow is an international author and has published 5 books, 3 of which are academic. She is a international speaker at many events and conferences such as Medical Research, SAMA, HPCSA, and she has published her work in many peer reviewed journals.
She has recently won the Mrs Tourism Universe Global Humanity Ambassador title 2022 and is using her title to empower women and promote Tourism in SA globally. She has a non profit company called Power in Pink to uplift and mentor women. Dr. Gallow is an advisor to local and national government and part of the Strategic TAT team for medical cannabis. Dr. Shiksha Gallow is the winner of the Fabulous Women awards 2023, Healthcare category Woman of Stature Awards, Women of Wonder Awards and the most influential women 2022 and the winner of the global corporate governance award and was named a global Ambassador. She has been appointed on the EXCO for BRICS the South African chapter in the Healthcare sector.
